  1. Help, I think I F-up my windows.

Today I was installing DOOM from the Xbox season pass app and I selected the ssd, but then I changed my mind and canceled the installation because I thought It would be better to install it on my HDD, then I noticed the space the app took to install DOOM was still occupied, I checked the program files folder and I had a windows apps folder that was 60 gb on size, I thought deleting the Xbox app would delete that folder so I did that, but it didn't work, the folder is still there occupying space and I can't delete it, it gives me the error 0x80070780.

I tried everything from cmd to powershell and giving myself all kinds of permissions over that folder, nothing worked.

Then wise me decided to reboot my pc and suddenly the windows store app and the mail app don't work, they don't have icons and crash whenever I try to open them.

Now I'm stuck with 2 problems, a folder 60gb in size that refuses to be deleted and apps refusing to open and work, does anyone know what might have caused all of this mess and how to solve it? Or am I going to have to format my PC because I have room temperature IQ?

    f drive

    Hello Kathy,

Based on the information you have provided in your post; we need to do further investigation. To assist you better, we'd like to know the following:

    • Have you tried using a third party software to manage the disk partition?
    • Did you format the drive?

We suggest that you check for the drive in the Disk Management and look if it appears. Follow these steps:

    • Log on as administrator or as a member of the Administrators group.
    • Press Windows+R key and type diskmgmt.msc and then click OK.
Look if the Drive F: appears and check if it is unallocated.

    Looking forward to your update.
