    No idea what to do here. I clicked to have latest build installed at midnight. Came back in room 8 hours later assuming done but it's not. Install stuck at 21%. Can't power machine off

    Honestly, you are better off installing an older version of Windows in a virtual machine then install it there. A program designed for Windows 95 is likely not gonna work well on Windows 10. You are talking about 21 years ago.

    See instructions how to download and setup a virtual machine. You could try Windows XP as a suitable operating system to use in the virtual machine.

    Hi pittguy578

    While I don't like this solution, if you hold power button down, say for 10 seconds it should power down, hard.

    You can then restart. Fingers crossed it restarts and resets to existing build.

    When you say you were installing latest build, were you going from 1511 to 1607 or were you just installing the latest cumulative update?

    Are you an Insider of the Fast ring?
