Windows 10: Help my Store won't open after reseting it.

So I tried to get rid of the Xbox game bar but ended up making a problem so I reset the Microsoft store and now it won't open it shows up in my windows icon in the bottom left corner but when I click on it does nothing.

Here are the things I tried.

I tried to use Powershell admin by typing this in Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$$_.InstallLocation\AppXManifest.xml"} but a error message came up saying

Add-AppxPackage : Deployment failed with HRESULT: 0x80073CF6, Package could not be registered.

error 0xC0020036: windows.licensing failed to start ClipSvc. Try again and contact the package publisher if the

problem persists.

NOTE: For additional information, look for [ActivityId] 1efeeac6-cd81-0002-733c-ff1e81cdd601 in the Event Log or use

the command line Get-AppPackageLog -ActivityID 1efeeac6-cd81-0002-733c-ff1e81cdd601

And I tried restarting my computer and that did not work.


I tried uninstalling the store in Apps and Features but it did not show up.

I tried checking my updates and time zone and they were fine

I also used the troubleshooter and it said my apps were hanging or crashing

So I don't know what to do.

I suggest you to reset Windows Store Cache and check if it helps.

  Press Windows Key + R key to open run box.
  
• 
  Type WSReset.exe and hit Enter.

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run Windows app troubleshooter.

Step 2: Run shell commands for Windows store and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Command prompt(Admin) to open elevated Command prompt.
  
• 
  Type the following commands.
  
  
  
  powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
  
• 
  Hit enter, the blackscreen will appear still for a couple of seconds. After a couple of second a new line saying C:\.... will appear.
  
• 
  Close Command Prompt.
  
• 
  Try to start the Windows Store again.
