[help] Network issues for a newbie??

I don't know if this is the place to ask but the Windows support forums are so complicated I thought I'd give it a shot. I have Windows 10 on an Acer Aspire E15 laptop and i know next to nothing about computers or how to fix them.

Recently if I bump my charger cable or move the laptop, it'll freeze and buzz for a second, and then the internet will cut out for a few minutes with no options to connect. The option for bluetooth keeps disappearing completely, and sometimes when I start up the laptop it gives me no option to connect to wifi, and when I troubleshoot it only gives me the option to plug in an ethernet cable which I don't even know if I have, saying there's a network cable issue. Lastly, sometimes when I boot up as I'm trying to connect to my wifi, I'll watch as all the connection options flicker on and off at 1 second intervals, literally disappearing and reappearing.

I really can't afford a new laptop right now, and it's only 3 or 4 years old. Can anyone help me out using simple terms so my brain doesn't implode?

Right click start button(far left in task bar), go to Device manager, expand Network Adapters, right click Wi-Fi select Properties and find the version of your driver in Drivers tab.

    Issues with network adapters

    Hi Alfonso,

To resolve this issue, we suggest that you run the Network troubleshooter when you switch from WiFi to Ethernet connection. The Network troubleshooter can help diagnose and fix common connection problems including clearing the network cache to obtain a new
IP from the new network. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type Identify and repair network problems, and then select
Identify and repair network problems from the list of results.
    • Follow the steps in the troubleshooter and see if that fixes the problem.

If the issue persists, kindly try the troubleshooting steps on the following link:

Fix network connection issues in Windows 10
    .

We recommend that you try the steps on the Update the network adapter driver,
Run the Network troubleshooter followed by networking commands, and Use network reset to reinstall network devices sections.

Let us know how it goes for us to assist you further.
