Windows 10: Help on Computer Shutting Down

Hello -I am looking for help on fixing unwanted shut down on my computer. I asked the same question a few weeks ago and which was kindly answered ( thank you ) . That has helped but the problem seems to have returned today. ( I couldn't return to thank those that replied as after following the instructions to reinstall my windows 10, I lost many of my accounts and passwords (not having written them down or my ms office key ) along with my 2007 office software. ) However, after a complete windows 10 reinstall and new office purchase, that advice has improved the computer for about ten days but today the sudden shut down struck again!!


This time is a little different in that I don't have critical messages in the event window just before the shut down ( although I still have 3 critical event messages each day. This has reduced dramatically since the update from about 12 a day. ) The 3 are:


1. 41 Kernel - Power

2. 10110 DriverFrameworks- Usermode

3. 10111 DriverFrameworks- Usermode


It seems from reading here that 2 and 3 might come from the USB slot ( no usb plugged in ) and wonder if there is a way to reinstall those? I have manually updated all the drivers.


I don't know what 1 is??


The inside of the computer is very clean from dust and I now work with the side panel off in case it was caused by temperature although that seems to be correct at around 40 degrees.


The only other thing I have noticed is that in the event window I get some warnings before the time of shut down listed as:

10016 DistributedCOM ( 8 warnings )

6008 EventLog ( 2 warnings )

Kernel-Event Tracing Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-EventTracing/Admin ( 2 warnings ).


Any help with this would be much appreciated as its been great to work with a functioning computer again!

To assist you better, I would like to ask what are the methods that you have tried to solve the issue.

The issue might occur if the computer is not shut down properly. so, I suggest you to perform a power drain by follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Shut down the Computer.
• Remove all power source (including battery if it is a laptop).
• Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
• Connect the power source and start the computer.
• After the computer boots to the desktop, suggest you to install all the pending updates.
