    Help please. Windows Store App icons, all missing :/


    Hey guys, so I have a strange problem which has happened before after a Windows update. No more restore points so that's not an option. Basically all of the icons for Windows App store apps are missing, including Edge and the Store icons themselves.

    I have tried clearing icon cache, I have tried re-installing/registering apps through elevated prompt. Nothing seems to be working. The Manifest.xml's for each app are apparently missing?

    Anyone have any luck/advice? The apps all seem to work just be missing icons so they show up blank in taskbar/start-menu

    Start menu is not showing windows apps

    Hi there

    Recently I noticed that my task bar was missing some icons ...specifically the Store icon and the Microsoft Edge icon...then I went to the start menu and found out all the windows store apps had disappeared ...I attempted trouble shooting windows store...but
    still the store apps were not showing...only the Applications and documents I had initially had or manually where showing instead

    Please Help

    Windows 10 start menu missing icon

    I followed all your troubleshooting steps and the icons are still missing. All of the missing icons in the start menu are all windows store apps. If you have any further suggestions on what to try, please let me know. Thanks.

    FIXED >> It was "Fast picture viewer codec" causing a plethora of issues. Uninstalled, everything fixed.
