    Help Support Centre scam?


    I have had a very insistent call from someone claiming to be from the Windows Help Support Centre, and his "supervisor". They got me to bring up a list of all "services" on my computer, most of which were "Running" and about 20% of which were "Stopped". They claimed that all the "Stopped" services are evidence of intrusion into my system. Is that nonsense?
