Windows 10: HELP Windows 1803 to 1903 update login loop error

Hello. Ive been pausing updates for about 2 years because each time i try to update my windows it will download update 1903 which will install but it will also make make the login screen loop endlessly:

Im wondering if its possible to do some cmd magic to fix this or if i somehow can go to a further update than 1903 which would skip this error without having to reformat my whole pc and install everything over again.

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

 

Windows 10 rebooting in a loop to install updates -but already updated to 1903

hopefully someone can help.
I had a client whose HP laptop - tried to install 1803 update and failed into a reboot loop - troubleshoot - system restore enables access to the desktop.
I downloaded 1903 media creator and brought the laptop uptodate. All seemed ok on restart and left the laptop with the client.
Now the laptop has gone back into a "installing update" loop even though it has 1903 update (successful so earlier updates not needed?) -
Question is why windows can't figure out it is uptodate and where in the reboot process is it being told to try and install an update not needed? I need to break this loop - any ideas?

Windows Home 10 update from 1803 to 1903

I have windows 10 x64 home edition, version 1803.

I'm trying to update it to the new onw, version 1903, but my pc freezes every time when the installation is going to finish (around 80%).

I tried to update the OS in different ways:

1. Start > Settings > Update
   & Security > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates.
   If updates are available, install them.
2. Download the Update Assistant
3. Download the Media Creation Tool 1903

The result is always the same.

No errors, only pc freezing.

What do you suggest to do?
