  1. Help with Memory.

I have had this problem since I reinstalled Win 10 x64 2 weeks ago. These numbers where approximately the same before this last forced update. I have done some research, seems like everybody has the same problem but not to my extent. I know hardware reserves a bunch, especially my laptop video card. Any ideas our direction would help. Thanks guys. Please see attached.

  3. Mouse cursor contsantly blinking and not working properly

I have the same problem. It will not let me select when the mouse pointer is flashing. I have to wait for the computer to be on for awhile to stop the flashing.

I have reinstalled the mouse software and updated the driver.

    Any suggestions?

  5. Thanks CountMike, I know that, but even on a fresh reboot, why do I have as little as 5.5 gb of mem available to me?

  6. Did this just start happening? Can you try removing one DIMM at a time and seeing how much is being reserved when you boot with only 8GB?

  7. It's a Asus laptop with no compartments on the bottom, the whole machine has to come apart. But that's what I don't understand, its showing all 16 gb. When I first got the machine almost 2 years ago, it came with 8 gb, put in the 16 gb, booted the machine, and windows noticed it right away. I just never noticed this before. I had just had a stint of using Linux for 2 months because Win 10 crashed and I lost my recovery drive at the same time. Just re-installed a little over a week ago. I don't seem to be running slow, turned off un-needed services, all stuff I have been doing since XP, Vista and so on.

    Help with Memory.

Open the website for the computer manufacturer > enter the product or serial number or model > select the operating system > view drivers and BIOS > post a URL or hyperlink into the thread.

Run the beta version of the log collector and post a zip into this thread:
    log collector v2-beta08.zip
    (extract > open)

  11. I know what the BSOD was. Been having trouble running my Focusrite USB music interface, I was running it as my main sound device also. I noticed the BSOD after I saw the level meters go a little crazy, sound would go in and out, then BSOD. The other stuff I will look into, may not get to it today, but thanks for all your help.
