    Coputer won't work

    Hi,

System freezing and performance issues are usually caused by hardware or software failure, and missing/corrupted system files. This issue needs further trimming for an accurate solution. We could start by performing a clean boot. While in clean boot state,
Windows is only using minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that causes the system to misbehave. We also suggest removing any hardware peripherals, leaving only the mouse and keyboard during this state. To begin,
    follow the steps below:

    • From Start, search for msconfig.
    • Select System Configuration from the search results.

    • On the Services tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click to select the
Hide all Microsoft services check box, and then tap or click
      Disable all.

    • On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click
      Open Task Manager.

    • On the Startup tab in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then click
      Disable.
    • Close Task Manager.
    • On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click
OK, and then restart the computer.

Following the clean boot state, please perform the troubleshooting steps below:

Step 1: Using DISM and SFC tool

    • Click on Start menu button, type 'command prompt', right-click and select
      Run as administrator.
    • Enter the following command-lin (press Enter each line):

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    sfc /scannow

Note: Wait for each process to complete.

    Step 2: Run Windows Update

    • Click the Start button, and go to Settings.
    • Select Update & Security.
    • Click Check for updates.

Refer to Reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting section of this
article after performing the above troubleshooting steps.
