Windows 10: Help with text sizing.

    Help with text sizing.


    I had to reinstall windows a week ago or so and all of the text is bigger then I like so I went to display settings and no joy you can't get below the 100% text size. There used to be a way to customize folders and their text size and those settings don't appear to exist anymore. If you follow what windows help tells you which is the following goto right click desktop choose display settings goto advanced display settings. The settings that were once there are no longer there it only shows me information on my monitors. I can't find a way to customize text settings below a 100%. I used to be able to. I need to know have those setting truly been taken out or we're they moved to somewhere else?

    Any help would be great.

    Hi,

    Please follow below steps to change the size of text:

    • In the search bar, look for Display settings, then click it.
    • A pop up will appear showing the Display settings.
    • Click on the scale to change the size of text, apps and other items.

    Follow the steps to change the font size:

    • Click on "Windows logo" and select "Settings".
    • Select "System".
    • You can change the font size here.

    Follow the steps to go to Control Panel:

    • Type "Control Panel" in the search bar.
    • Select "Control Panel" from suggestions.

    Icon & text size

    To resolve your concern, we’d recommend that you follow the steps provided on how to change the font size. Here’s how to do it:

    • Right-click on desktop and select Display settings.
    • Scroll down and click Advanced display settings.
    • Scroll down and click Advanced sizing of text and other items.
    • Under Change only the text size. Select the item you want to change in the drop-down list and choose the text size.
    • Click on Apply.
