I think this is the important thing.

I'd try, after backing up your system. Read my sig.

Disable onboard graphics adapter in the BIOS. Force it to use your Nvidia only.
Turn off or disconnect your second monitor. I'm surmising you have two monitors connected to your Nvidia card .
Boot the PC and check Device Manager for the Onboard Video adapter, it should be missing now.
Check your display properties it should see only one monitor.
    Try to upgrade.

  6. Don't have two monitors, I have a one monitor set up and it is not a graphics issue anymore, I have set up everything I can properly and I still get a blank screen, no mouse cursor, with a keyboard that shuts off. I get the windows logo, it looks like it will load, then it goes to black, they keyboard shuts off, I know it does cause the number lock light shuts off and won't come back on as I tap the key, I left the PC on for over 12 hours to no avail

  7. My bad "I did forget to turn off dual monitor in my bios, and then it re installed my integrated drivers. "

Did you actually go into the BIOS and disable Onboard Graphics before attempting the upgrade?

Yes I did, I did a reinstall of those things, it is that my mobo actually makes the gpu the main card, but my mobo is also has an option for Dual monitors, I did a re install where I turned off all features dealing with the integrated gpu and am still getting the same error, read all my posts please before asking questions I've answered

OK before the upgrade did you remove Avast and/or any other malware products?

  11. Unfortunately I don't have a second monitor for these fixes to work. Like I have said, the computer starts up, the windows logo appears, with that swirl that indicates it is loading up, and where the login should appear nothing does, it is a blank screen and my keyboard shuts off completely. I do not think this is a graphics issue, because if it was why would it shut down my keyboard?

Yes, I have stated previously, antivirus is off, any protection off, disabled onboard gpu. Everything that has been recommended has been done. Now after windows initially installs I can log in, the resolution is way off, I install my nvidia drivers, but I know if I uninstall then the computer will not boot up again properly. Now all the problem seems to be with the boot up. Sometimes the boot does work properly and I can log in again. But 90% of the time that is not the case. I just have the blank black screen with no mouse cursor and no keyboard functionality

You got me thinking now, please forgive me if this was already covered , some have said that when they set their bios to defaults they had no more issues.

Try using DDU to remove your drivers Your Avast just can't be off, it has to be removed.
