None of their standard solutions work, as usual, for example listed here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca...rors-when-you-access-or-work-with-files-and-f

Where have they hidden our ability to manage our own installations now?

This is access denied on the temp.

Open start and search for %Temp% and press enter and it should open TEMP folder.

Remove everything install it and then try run installer again.

Right click on temp folder and verify administrator have access to it.

You do realize that the Users\silva\AppData folders including the Local folder and the Temp folder in it are system folders right. They belong to that user who is an Administrator. How would that administrator not have access to it unless Windows changed
    that without notifying me.

I checked the properties and it says Read only (Only applies to files in this folder). Under the Security Tab Administrators (of which silva is one) have full permissions: Modify, Read I& eecute, List folder contents, Read, Write. So that can't be the issue.

Why would I have to erase the contents of the Temp folder?

OK, I did that. Temp folder empty.

Tried again to install as administrator.

    Same result. Access Denied.
