Windows 10: HEVC installation problem impact on Premiere Pro

I just want my Premiere Pro works on my pc from iphone format source, but it require this extention. But after installing the extension it still won't work. Plus this one give me no clue what is wrong.CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600GPU: GTX 1050 TiWindows 10 Pro*Moved from Windows insider.

Can't get Adobe Premiere Pro to work anymore. Please Help!

To understand the issue better, please provide us more information.

• 
  What exactly happen when you try to import any content?
  
• Do you get any error message/error code?

Let’s try simple steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. Follow the below steps.

Step 1.

I would recommend you to uninstall/reinstall the Adobe Premiere Pro and check if this helps.

• 
  Press Windows key + R, type appwiz.cpl
  and hit Enter.
  
• 
  Now locate for Adobe Premiere Pro, right click on it and uninstall the program.
  
• Once uninstalling is done restart the computer and try installing again.

If the issue still persist, try the below steps:

Step 2.

I suggest you to uninstall the Adobe Premiere Pro and install the program in compatibility mode and check.

  Follow the above steps to uninstall the program.
  
• 
  Now Right-click on the setup file and select Properties.
  
• 
  Select Compatibility tab.
  
• 
  Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.
  
• 
  Let the program install and then check the functionality.

Base Filtering Engine blocks Adobe Premiere Pro at startup

I seem to have fixed the problem using the following steps:

Uninstalled Premiere Pro on my normal profile

Uninstalled Creative Cloud on my normal profile

Logged in on the new Admin profile

Installed Creative Cloud

Installed Premiere Pro

Installed CC++ 2017

Ran Premiere

Premiere is working on both Admin and regular profile now.

No idea what ended up fixing it. Thanks for the help.

 

HEVC HEIC integration not completed?

Hi,

I'm using my IPhone for taking videos. I transfer this videos to my computer via USB. My phone is configured to transfer the files
without improving compatibility what also causes known problems. So far so good everything is fine. Depending on where I want to work I store the videos on my desktop pc or on my Surface Pro6. For both devices
I installed the HEIF and HEVC codecs from the store. On both devices I have also installed Adobe Premiere Elements
(Media Encoder is not included) to edit my videos.

Now to my problem:

On my desktop PC everything is working fine, I can edit the videos with Premiere Elements. Unfortunately that's not possible on my surface. I always receive the following message:





"Your system must be configured to import HEVC or HEIF media."

What did I do already:

• uninstall and install Premiere again
• reset HEIF codec
• uninstall and install HEVC again
• got in touch with Adobe and used all their approaches to solve the problem
• created a new offline User on my surface and installed Premiere and HEVC for that account

What I also recognized:

Here is a screenshot of my explorer window. On my desktop PC I can see a preview picture of the videos but here on the Surface I cannot see it. By double clicking on the video it's starting and I can watch it with any movie player that I've got installed.





I can only guess but my feeling is that there is missing an entry on my Surface or there is a wrong entry within the registry.

Is there a solution?
