    Hey can anybody help me with error code 0x800706ba and 0x800706be.


    I have tried every available method on net to solve the error but all effort have gone to dust.My pc is not able to install updates for 2 months now, always showing the above mentioned error codes and it's making me anxious about the security of my pc. Please help and provide some solution for it.

    Hey can anybody help me with error code 0x800706ba and 0x800706be.

    Error 0x800706ba, Error 0x800706be, etc after upgrade to Widows 10

    After updating from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, windows tries to install Optional Features but keeps on getting Error 0x800706ba.

    So I tried to run Windows Update but I got :

    There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help:

    • Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3163018) - Error 0x800706ba

    • Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB2267602 (Definition 1.223.1538.0) - Error 0x80070643

    • Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3163207) - Error 0x800706be

    • Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3149135) - Error 0x800706ba

    Then I tried to open Windows Defender and got :

    Microsoft security client

    Error code 0x80070426

    Then I tried running "Windows 10 windows Update troubleshooter" and got message :

    "A problem is preventing troubleshooter from starting." - Error code 0x80070057

    How do I fix this ?
