1903 - Broke On Battery Brightness Adjustment (missing sliders)

Got 1903 installed and now missing both of those sliders

I can still adjust brightness for Plugged In mode in the notifications menu and general brightness menu, but there is no way to set it for the Battery mode, when the notebook is unplugged.

Worked fine with 1809 and 17XX (with registry hack as it used to have brightness stuck all the way up).

Any way around it? I heard there is a reg hack that can be used.
Using older Mobile Intel 4 series express Chipset family driver from Microsoft corp WDDM 1.1.

Does Windows 10 version 1903 come with Chrome

I just installed Windows 10 version 1903. After the installation completed, I found Google Chrome was installed. However, I don't want Chrome on this Windows 10 machine.

Question: Does Chrome come with Windows 10 version 1903?

• My guess is that it does not but looking for 100% for certain confirmation.

As far as Wifi any chance it is Qualcom inside USB adapter, if Qualcom then yes known issue.


I might create another user (Local) and when if try again see if this issue occurs on both users.

Would also suggest you run the first 5 steps in this tutorial to see if you have any corruption with current build.
