Windows 10: hey, where is that Upgrade Now button gone to ?

Could be a regional thing then since you are both in Canada, but I'm not sure why Canada would be excluded.

Yes, it's missing? lol, I clicked the post button when I meant to click advanced. The made a hurried post to show it's missing on the actual webpage.,

 

One has to ask, why would you get an upgrade now option, if your already running the most recent version of Windows 10?

I'm going to the www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10 site? Maybe its different if its the en-us site?

 

With Upgrade now : Download Windows 10.

Without Upgrade now: Download Windows 10

What about those Canadians who are using Win7/8/8.1. Which opening page do they see when accessing MCT ?

Is there a Canadian member here still using Win7/8/8.1 OS ?

 

I have no idea? I'm running 10 on all my PC's. You'd have to post this on 8 or 7 forums. *Shock *Zip

 

For what it's worth, the german site version doesn't have the button either.
It took me a while to figure out to use de-de for germany*Redface, as my systems are all en-us*Biggrin

 

I have this bookmarked, so I can post links to the downloads for 7 8 and 10. Software Download I don't remember how I actually got there the first time though. I didn't realize it was EN-CA until just recently. Or that there were different download sites like EN-US?

EDIT: Being a proud Canadian, I have my location/Region set to Canada. I also use the Google CA site for web searches. So either one of those may be why I ended up at the en-ca site instead of the en-us site.
