Windows 10: Hidden Floating Search Bar Shortcut?

So the other day, I was cleaning my keyboard with my PC on (I had a notepad on and avoided system keys). I seem to have pressed a key combination which launched a floating search bar in windows. On doing some google search on it I found that there is a hidden Floating search bar in WIndows that can be enabled by a registry hack. There is no way I edited my registry while cleaning my keyboard unless I am a wizard and missed my Hogwarts letter.

But the one I stumbled upon was a bit different and cleaner than this one. Also, this hack doesn't seem to work on Version 20H2 (Build 19041.329) that I am currently on. It was more like a Mac search tool. And I really want it back. Does anyone know what the shortcut is? ( I have power tools installed if that has any role to play in this)

Are you referring to hide search bar option?

If yes, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps:

• 
  Right click on the search bar.
  
• 
  Select search option.
  
• 
  Now click on the hidden option.

floating search bar

I use msn as homepage on android device it blocks portion of the screen. When you scroll up it does diappear but half the picture they want you to see is gone. If you try to bring it down the search bar comes back to block it again. Suggestions? I would
like to disable and look for search when I need it.

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

• Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
• Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
• Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
• Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.
