Windows Wireless Display Adapter-not connecting anymore

    Hello Phillip,

Did you notice any changes on your PC prior to the issue? I suggest that you follow the steps outlined in this support article:
    Troubleshooting Wireless Display Adapters.

Since updating drivers did not work, in addition, you can try to reset the Wireless Adapter.

    1. On the adapter, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds.
    2. When the message " Ready to connect "shows, open the
      Action Center.
    3. Select Connect, and in the list of displays, select
      Microsoft
      Wireless Display Adapter.

Please respond to this thread to let me know how the issue progresses. Similarly, if you have more questions, please inform me by replying to this post.

Cannot connect to Microsoft wireless display adapter

    Hi,

I bought a brand new Microsoft Surface Pro 4 together with a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter.

I plugged it in my TV set (HDMI and USB), and it displays the Microsoft logo and the message "MicrosoftDisplayAapter_A9 Ready to connect"

Then on the Surface Pro 4, I go to "connect" (in the notification center) and I can see the display adapter listed in the available devices. I select it and click on connect, the TV blicked several time with the Microsoft logo and after a while it goes back
to the message "MicrosoftDisplayAapter_A9 Ready to connect". In the meantime, my Surface Pro 4 indicates "connecting ..." and after I have the messsage "try to reconnect"...

I tried all the solution suggested in https://www.microsoft.com/surface/e...eshoot-wireless-display-adapter?os=windows-10

but that did not help.... And as it cannot get connected, I cannot perform any firmware uprade as the Wireless display program does not work until the device is connected...

    Any idea ?

    Thanks for your support,

    Antoine.
