it's not only Cortana but there is other processes that jump to the top. I will try to get the driver from Acer website and update you

 

Please can you be more exact - do you mean when the internet is connected or when it's not?

And please try the ethernet connection before thinking of the driver.
Why? If you see exactly the same via an ethernet connection, it's nothing to do with Wifi per se.

Also please advise your build number. Thanks.

Ok I'll spell it out.

1. CountMike suggests it's your Wifi driver.
2. To eliminate that, use ethernet not Wifi
3. If you see the same via ethernet, it's not the Wifi driver
4. If it's not the Wifi per se, there's no point messing about wasting time looking for a Wifi driver.

Can you think why that might be of interest?
Initially it seemed you may be receiving an update.
If your build number is current, then there's no major update (bar the creator's build) expected.
If it's not current, then perhaps Windows update is failing.
If so please post your Update History.

That's just for background info 'cos we're not in front of your PC.

 

after updating the wifi driver it seems that it's now normal.





This is sample from windows update there is a very long list and I didn't notice any update failure.
