Windows 10: High CPU usage when laptop at sleep

    High CPU usage when laptop at sleep


    I am using Asus G14 .... when make my laptop sleep then the temperature was increasing ... i recorded CPU usage while in sleep ... and found that the CPU usage reached 8 to 10 percent idle usage 2 to 3 percent .... from windows rescource monitor ii found the the system was doing this .... what is causing this and how to solve please help i have attached the image of what i see the circled part is when my comuter was at sleep ... thwe system was taking very high cpu usage

    Hello,

    FYI, I already follow your suggestion, I let my notebook overnight run without in sleep mode. But msbuild.exe still running and make my CPU high usage.

    high cpu usage

    After downloading windows 10, anytime I run any programs, I get high CPU usage. It does not matter whether it is google chrome, task manager, playing games, whatever. Anything seems to spike the CPU usage. I have already run malwarbytes and my antivirus
    programs and find no viruses. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    CPU high usage after update win10 1709

    While it is normal to see a high CPU usage after the semi-annual full build updates (as described on
    this link), it should typically finish the work within a few hours. However I do see sometimes that the computers are set to go to sleep mode
    and so the work gets interrupted and it has to start again or take longer, so I usually suggest setting your computer to "do not sleep when plugged in" and let it run overnight if needed.
