Windows 10: High DPC latency issue (Dell 7567)

I’m having some issues on my Dell 7567 for over a year now. The laptop sometimes gets a second long stutter which is noticeable if Im playing music(it sounds like the sound you get on the BSOD but here it’s only a second long and everything works fine after)

I found out that this could be a high DPC latency issue so I tried 2 different analysis tools and they both reported the same results (in the avg range of 12-1300 microsec with sudden peaks) which is not normal.

I’ve tried enabling/disabling/updating all the drivers. My BIOS and OS is updated to latest. I’ve removed Bonjour. I’ve tried disabling the firewall and ipv6.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Or could this be a hardware issue?

This is kinda frustrating. I’ll be dual booting Ubuntu to check whether this issue is hardware based or OS.

Any inputs are welcome.

High DPC latency

I use my Dell XPS for recording and live playback but the system suffers from high DPC latency caused by ACPI driver.

I removed Dell audio drivers and installed those from RealTek with no avail. Latency is an issue because I need this computer for live recording. Please your advice.

Windows 10 High Dpc Latency

I believe DPC Latency Checker does not support WIN 10. Please try LatencyMon and check.

I had this issue so thought of sharing.
