So one day I was minding my own business, vibing to some music, then suddenly, I got 80% usage of memory. I didn't care that much. Later on, in the midst of vibing, the music kinda got like, screechy. So I checked task manager, and it's 99% memory used. It is still 99% whilst I am writing this so please someone help me!

    if you can help, thanks!

  3. High memory usage WIndows 10.

I have this same issue but its high Memory/RAM usage not CPU usage. My top memory usage is "System" and sometimes I'll get up to 97% usage and just have to restart this happens probably once a day. I can't run Photoshop on my PC at all because it spikes
    to 100% usage and crashes.

High memory usage. Restarting once worked, now doesn't.

Memory usage is excessively high while no programs are open

Could you make screenshots of the memory usages in 2 ways:
    • task manager, processes, filtered on 'memory' (click on the tab to filter)
    • task manager, performance, memory
    and post them

What we see now from your screenshot doesn't provide an answer what is taking the amount of memory, because you didn't filter any usage.
