  1. Homegroup (again)

I have two laptops on my network, one wireless, one cabled.
Network and sharing centre, homegroups, says on the wireless one 'available to join' and if I try to join it says the homegroup is on the cabled machine and needs the password.
The cabled machine, under homegroup says 'ready to create' so I can't get the password from there.
I created a homegroup on the cabled machine and got the password, but when I try to join from the wireless machine it says wrong password.

I've deleted the homegroup I created, deleted files in peernetworking and rebooted everything but the problem remains.

    :)

  2. Cant Join HomeGroup that exists on my existing system

    Troubleshooter says no issues.

Cant delete the homegroup or join it.

Again, Windows somehow knows that a Homegroup exists, and that it is owned by my system. However, my system is not in the homegroup and cant join it.

Its really a little annoying. I would delete the homegroup, but again, I cant, since I cant do anything to it.

  3. Windows 10 Homegroup error code 2147500037

    Hi,

I suggest you t try deleting the Homegroup and create a new Homegroup again.
If everyone leaves the Homegroup, it will no longer exist. To remove a computer from a Homegroup, follow these steps on the computer you want to remove:

    1. Type Homegroup in the search bar and open it.

    2. Click Leave the homegroup

    3. Click Leave the homegroup, and then click
    Finish.

    4. Repeat the steps with the other computers.

Once the Homegroup is deleted, start with a new Homegroup again. You can refer the article below for reference.

    HomeGroup from start to finish

Note : The above link applies to Windows 10 also.

    Let us know the result.

    Homegroup (again)

Welcome to the forum. You don't need home group to share files it often gives more problems you need to check your router settings as a lot by default have user isolation set which stops you connecting to local network
