Windows 10: HomeGroup Issues - Windows 10 1607 x64 & latest Updates

Hi Everyone

I'm having some HomeGroup issues as follows:-

- Windows 10 1607 X64 with latest cumulative updates
- Logged on as local Admin User to Desktop PC
- Homegroup that was previously working now no longer working (this Desktop was used to create the Homegroup)
- Instead, under Homegroup see "you have been invited to join homegroup" message
- Can't see Homegroup or Homegroup Password
- All of my other desktops & laptops are also Windows 10 1607 X64 with latest cumulative updates also have under Homegroup see "you have been invited to join homegroup"

I thought perhaps delete / re-create Homegroup would work - except I cant work out how to do this.

Any suggestions how I get my Homegroup working again????

Cannot connect to homegroup after Windows Updates

Since I have made the following Windows Updates:

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3176938)

Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3176936)

Feature update to Windows 10, version 1607

I can no longer connect to the HomeGroup on my network. Windows says no homegroup exists. Other computers are connected to the homegroup. I can create a homegroup, but others cannot see the homegroup I create. We are all on the same WIFI network.

What do I need to do in order to connect to the existing homegroup?

 

Windows 10 can not get IPv6 address automatically?

Latest update finally fixed the issue!

Homegroup has had issues since the day Microsoft introduced it. Use standard Network sharing, instead of Homegroup. Less headaches.
