    HomeGroup Start Menu Option Doesn't Work


    Turning the HomeGroup option on in the start menu:

    Using the HomeGroup option in File Explorer = it works:

    Has anyone else encountered this problem, or is it just me? If someone has encountered it, could you let me know how to fix it? I'd like to be able to go to HomeGroup from the start menu instead of File Explorer. Thanks in advance.

    Cannot Leave a home group

    I am currently using Windows 10 Home- Version 10.0.162999 Build 16299

    Before updating this machine to Windows 10 16299 -Homegroup worked perfectly. I was able to connect to another windows 10 PC in my house.

    Now the homegroup doesn't work and I can not Join or Leave the Homegroup.

    How do I delete or remove the old Homegroup and start a hew one.

    How to create/delete Homegroup Windows 10

    New discovery. Based on a comment on another forum I powered down everything on the network, then powered up one machine. Now I had the option to create a new homegroup and join it. Powered up the other boxes, and left clicking on the Start Menu button got
    me nothing on all the other machines. Right mouse button still got me the normal context menu. Powered down all but the PC where I created the new homegroup and removed it from the homegroup.

    Powered everything back up, and all the Start menus worked again. This kind of sucks.
