Windows 10: Hope you can help. My sons Lenovo idea pad will not run he has a blue screen code - 0xc000021a

Hi community

My sons Lenovo Idea Pad which is only just over a year old is now showing a blue screen with a stop code - 0xc000021a .

We have taken it back to PC World and they have said that they can't do anything as there is a password on the bios. It has already had 1 replacement hard drive and suspect it needs another one as the problems he was having were the same as last time. We had to lookup what a BIOS Password was as we had never heard of it let alone made one and put it on the machine. We do not know how this password has been assigned to his laptop and seemingly according to them if we don't know it then we are stuffed!! Is there anything we can do. He bought it with the money he was left by his grandmother and we are all very upset by this as it was not cheap,
