Windows 10: Hopeless with Windows 10 & the Infamouse Error 0x800f081f

In NTLite:
Make sure that everything is unloaded (I mistakenly wrote coupled/uncoupled), and only the OS is installed.
Your D:\Mount should be empty again!

In DISM Gui:
After you have choosen the install.wim location, make sure that the DISM Output is allright.
Then select the destination folder and click Mount.
The mounting takes quite a while, so just sit and wait.

Then go back to NTLite:
You should see that Install.wim is isolated (or whatever, I just translated from Dutch), and the OS is loaded.
Then you're ok.

When you finally run Dism (with 'restorehealth') make sure you make no typos - that's why I used your D:\Mount folder!
Dism$/Online$/Cleanup-Image$/RestoreHealth$/Source:wim:\Mount\install.wim:1$/limitaccess ($=spaces)
There is no Sources directory.

 

I found the solution to your dilemma! Yes! There is NO image install.win file for DISM to locate! So... You have to specify the folder of the mounted image instead! BTW you can't just specify a folder that isn't mounted. This is done so that DISM knows that it is looking in a legitimate location for files to work with. See, you can also use DISM to modify install.win files so that you can do cool uber-nerd things like slipstream service packs and add drivers to custom Windows install media. It makes things a wee bit safer since the only places DISM can look for files to work with and manipulate is an actual install.win file, a mounted image of said file, or Windows Update. Anyway, here's the correct command line:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:\Mount\Windows /limitaccess

Edit: I believe the multiple entries you have under your mount info in NTLite are possibly multiple versions of Windows (Pro, Home, etc.). But don't quote me on that. If you have a Windows directory in your mounted folder you should be all set.

Because the tutorial has not been updated to reflect the correct process....
It is now only intended for use with the esd from windows update...

the esd is not taken from $WINDOWS.~BT folder but, rather from $WINDOWS.~WS in the video...
