    Host W10 - VMWARE - Networking - anybody got it to work


    Hi there
    installing VMWARE workstation on W10 HOST machine -- (VMware workstation version 10).

    NAT and Bridged adapters don't work - anybody else had any luck (or with VMware player).

    (W10 x-64 Enterprise version).

    VmWare Player 6.0.7 lost network conecctivity after upgrading to windows 10 from windows 7

    My VmWare player lost network conecctivity to host an internet after upgrading windows 7 to windows 10. How do I fix it?

    Free VMPlayer compatibility with Windows 10 as the host OS

    I did the Windows 10 update not knowing about any potential issues regarding VMware Player version 6. At first it seemed to work ok but I could no longer connect from my XP virtual machine to my SQL Server running on the Windows 10 host. After reading
    this and other similar messages I found VMware Player version 7 that is still free for non-commercial use and have so far had no trouble with any network connections or SQL Server connections between Windows 10 host and XP virtual machine. (Link to VMware
