Blue Screen Happening Several Times a Day

    Hi Sam,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand how difficult it is, when the system doesn’t work in the way it should. For us to isolate the issue and to assist you further, we'd like to ask you a few questions.

    1. Were there any changes made to the operating system recently?
    2. What is the make and model of the system?
    3. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using?

Thank you for sharing the information via OneDrive. We analyzed the file and found IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL errors. This error probably is caused by faulty drivers, which are programmed to access improper hardware addresses.

Blue screens are generally caused by problems with your computer’s hardware or issues with its hardware driver software. Sometimes, they can be caused by issues with low-level software running in the Windows kernel. However, I suggest
you to follow the below steps, and check if that helps.

Method 1: Check Troubleshoot blue screen errors

I would suggest you to refer this article on

    Troubleshoot blue screen errors
    and follow the steps provided.

    Method 2: Driver Verifier.

I would suggest you to refer this article on

Driver Verifier-- tracking down a mis-behaving driver
, and follow the steps provided.

If the issue persists, I would suggest you to refer this

    thread
    , from Naveen_M Created on
January 27, 2019, and check if that helps.

    Hope it helps,

    Regards,

Two ESENT event errors happening several times a day??

    Hi,
Since Nov. 15 I have seen two ESENT errors (Event 490 and Event 454) every day ... sometimes two or three times a day listed in my Event Viewer. I have googled the daylights out of it and still come up empty ... at least for my computer 'expertise' (meaning 'or lack of') ...lol.

For the record I am using an All-In-One HP Pavilion 23-g017c (x64) AMD A6-5200 APU w/Radeon HD Graphics, running Windows 10, Version 1607, version 14393.447, using the Edge Browser while utilizing Windows Firewall and Windows Defender as my major security programs.

Event 490 says: taskhostw (3324) WebCacheLocal: An attempt to open the file "C:\Users\harts\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WebCache\V01.log" for read / write access failed with system error 32 (0x00000020): "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. ". The open file operation will fail with error -1032 (0xfffffbf8).

Event 454 says: taskhostw (3324) WebCacheLocal: Database recovery/restore failed with unexpected error -1032.

Both appear at the same time usually about 8-10 minutes after booting up and then anywhere between two to four hours later.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks and regards,
