Windows 10: How can I fix my screen resolution, only 2 options available

Last week my computer suddenly changed display settings to 1024x 768 and does not provide the correct display options. Only giving 2 options currentlyDevice name Jim-PC Processor 13th Gen IntelR CoreTM i7-13700 2.10 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB 15.7 GB usable Device ID 39475386-85AB-4D44-A55F-F965BC35A227 Product ID 00355-61159-59928-AAOEM System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display Edition Windows 11 Pro Version 23H2 Installed on ‎11/‎2/‎2023 OS build 22631.4541 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.

Screen Resolution too big

Firstly, try to install all the available Windows Updates and check if it fixes the issue.

I suggest you to change the screen resolution settings and check if it fixes the issue. Follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key and type Change Screen Resolution and click on the option listed.
• Under resolution try changing the resolution settings.

Also try to install the latest drivers from the manufacturer website and check.

The task bar is wider than my monitor screen.

  Do you see any error message or error code on the screen?
  
• 
  What is the model of your computer?

  Are you able to access the modern apps?
  

I suggest you to update the Display Adapter Drivers

Step 1: Update the Display Adapter driver.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software.

Step 2: Please follow the below steps to change the resolution of the screen and check:

• Type Change screen resolution in the
  Search box from the desktop.
• Under Resolution search for the Recommended resolution and click on
  Apply.
• A windows pops up saying "Keep these display settings", then select
  Keep changes.
