Windows 10: How can I get File Explorer Windows 11 to sort the subfolders at the top when searching?...

In File Explorer, when searching, sometimes it lists the subfolders among the files when it used to list all subfolders at the top and then all files below it. This first screenshot is from a font bundle that I recently extracted. I did a search for all files using . in the search box, and it's sorted by name. I can't find anything in options that would be causing this, but it's not useful to me this way. Note: this is on a new laptop. On my other laptop 2 years older but also Windows 11 I have searched folders with fonts many times and have never seen it sorted like this, so I don't think

Sorting Windows Explorer Search

I use the Explorer search function all the time. I am almost always just searching My Documents (and all subfolders), and I want results with the search word in the title AND contents. This works fine: no problems. When the search word appears in the title/name,
it is highlighted yellow. These used to be listed first, at the top, but now they are throughout the list. I want them at the top, but can't figure out how to do this. I must have changed something, because they used to be at the top. Right now they are sorted
by NAME.

How to Search in File Explorer in Windows 10 WITHOUT subfolders

OK. You have to:

1. Execute a search via the Search bar so the Search Ribbon appears.
2. On the ribbon, click Current Location.
3. Click the "Go" arrow to the right of the Search bar.
4. On the ribbon, click Current Location again.

I tried the method that was complicated (3rd option) but fell over in second step as I could not find any "apply to folder button"'.

However, the simple put *.* in search bar, then sort results windows by date does the trick. It is slightly cumbersome as I have to do that each time I am selecting files (to upload to sharepoint) but a lot less hassle than I was having to scroll up and down between sorted file block and sorted folder block.
