    How can I get rid of the annoying virtual keyboard in Win10?


    since the windows 10 update, there's this annoying virtual keyboard that pops up wherever, from search bars to typing in apps. How can I get rid of the annoying virtual keyboard in Win10? a21132b2-b8c6-4b14-940a-3c6a01d0e4a2?upload=true.jpg

    At startup virtual keyboard appears

    Hi Mark,

    This simply means that the on-screen keyboard is enabled. To get rid of this, see the steps below on how to do so.

    • Press Windows Key + X > Control Panel >
      Ease of Access > Ease of Access Center.
    • Under "Explore all settings", select the option “Use the computer without a mouse or keyboard”.
    • Uncheck the option “Use On-screen keyboard”.

    This has to be the answer you're looking for.

    Let us know if the steps did the trick.

    Hi Teresa,

    We still can't confirm what could be the possible cause of this virtual keyboard pop-up during start-up issue. For us to assist and understand it better, kindly answer the following questions:

    • When did you start experiencing this issue?
    • Have you made any recent changes to your computer prior to the issue?
    • Have you also tried performing the suggestions on how to disable it as posted by Crista_745 in this
      thread? If you still haven't, you may give that a try and see if it makes
      any difference.
