Windows 10: How can I get the Sleep option back after upgrading to 21H1

I upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 21H1 a couple of days ago. And the main "feature" I have noticed is that the option for setting my laptop to sleep is gone.Earlier I had the option to select Win-key - Power - Sleep.Now the only ones left is Shutdown and Restart. The option is also gone in the Additional Power settings in Settings - Power & sleep. I tried enable it in GPedit.msc too Admin templates/Windows components/File explorer/Show sleep..., but that did nothing.How can I get that option back?Other than reverting the 21H1 upgrade...

Hi Remon,

I tried what you suggested, but I did not see a sleep option listed in the settings for the power options. There was a "hibernate" option, but I don't think that is the same as the sleep option which I had prior to the last update. Also, since the update,
my graphics, images, and fonts are slightly distorted.

Sleep option

The issue might be due to a disabled sleep to show in Power menu
option in Control Panel.

We would like to ask for some information:

• Did you get any error messages?
• Can you provide us with a screenshot?

In the meantime, please check if the sleep to show in Power menu
option in Control Panel is enabled using the steps below:

• Type Control Panel on the search box and press Enter.
• Select System and Security, then Power Options.
• Click on Choose what the power buttons do.
• Put a check-mark on the Sleep-Show in Power menu box.

No Sleep Option After Upgraded to Windows 10

Thank you for keeping us posted and we appreciate your patience on this issue.

I suggest you to use the following steps to adjust the settings for when your display will power off and when your computer will go to sleep:

• Click the Start
  
  menu and select
  Settings.
• Click System.
• Click Power and sleep.
• Choose your desired Screen and Sleep settings.
• Click the X in the top right corner to close the window and save your changes.
