Windows 10: How can I have acces to clipboard history ?

Paste ("Ctrl v") only gives me the last data that I have copied in the clipboard


My question is : How to have access to the previous data that I have pasted in the clipboard today because I need to recover a data I pasted there in the morning, knowing that in the meantime, I made a lot of copy/past


I precise that I did not shut down or reboot my laptop today, and I know that there are a lot of data in the clipboard because I have been asked by a windows message if I wanted to keep the last picture I have copied or if I want to delete it as the clipborad is full.

Hi,

Windows Systems do not save the clipboard history. There is only one item stored in the clipboard. If you copy something new the previous clipboard contents is overwritten and lost forever. To get the full microsoft clipboard history you need to use third-party
utilities.

We recommend Clipdiary clipboard manager. It remembers everything you copy: plain text and text with formatting (rtf), html, pictures and files.

Why do you need clipboard manager? What can you do with the microsoft clipboard history?

-Quickly copy data back to the clipboard.

-Paste any clip from the history directly to the selected application.

-Search for the necessary clip by its contents.

-Find out what program the data was copied from.

-Delete clips.

Hello,

In Windows 10 build 17666 or later, clipboard is available.

Try these steps

1. Right click Start Button or press Windows + X keys and select Settings.

2. In the Settings app, navigate to System > Clipboard.

3. Under Clipboard, toggle the Save multiple items option to On. This should enable clipboard history on the go.

4. Close Settings app.

You can now press Windows + V keys to view clipboard history.
