Windows 10: How can I introduce manually the pin for a Bluetooth device?

Well, that's it. I bought a new bluetooth headset and I try to pair it with my laptop (has windows 10) and I just can't. It says "Check the pin and try connecting again" but it never shows me a prompt to introduce the pin. It discovers the device, I click on it, then it takes around 20 seconds and says the same text: "Check the pin and try connecting again". I have been checking on YouTube and some people actually do get that prompt where they introduce the pin and problem solved, but mine does not. I already did the "Services->Bluetooth Support Services->Automatic" then "Restart", but it doesn't solved anything so, any help will be great. Thanks.

Bluetooth device migration.

Sounds like a Bluetooth driver conflict to me. Did you make any changes on your laptop prior to the issue? What is the build and version of your Windows 10? In the meantime, kindly follow the steps below:

Step 1: Lets remove the Megacra sound bar from your Bluetooth device list.

1. Select Start > Settings > Devices >
   Bluetooth & other devices.
2. Select the paired Bluetooth device that you want to remove > Remove device >
   Yes.
   
   Restart your laptop.

Step 2: Download and install the latest Bluetooth driver directly from Dell support website.

Step 3: Pair again your Bluetooth device to your laptop. Kindly check for the device manual for the instructions.

How to return deleted bluetooth device?

Let's check on this. To pair your phone with your MI Band 2 or any Bluetooth accessory. We suggest that you try the following steps below:

• Make sure that the accessory or device you want to pair is turned on and in pairing mode so your phone can connect to it. and then turn the
  
• In the App list, go to Settings> Devices >
  Bluetooth and then turn the Status to On. Your phone will search for any discoverable Bluetooth accessories or devices. It will also be discoverable to other Bluetooth accessories or devices near you while you're on
  this screen. Make sure your phone stays unlocked during pairing.
• Tap the name of the accessory or device that you want to pair with your phone.
• If a PIN (also called a pairing code) is required, do one of the following:

• In the Pairing accessory message box, make sure that both the phone and the accessory or device display the same PIN, then tap
  OK.
• Enter the PIN for your accessory if you're asked for it, then tap Done.

After it's paired, your phone will automatically connect to the accessory or device when it's in range and Bluetooth is on your phone is turned on.

OSK PIN login on non-touch device

Hello,

I suggest you to create a PIN for your device and try the on screen keyboard to login to the same.

You may follow the steps below to create PIN protection for your device.

• 
  Go to Settings and select account.
  
• 
  Click on sign in option and Go to PIN option.
  
• 
  Now click on Add and set PIN for login.
  

You can use the same PIN to login to your device using the on screen Keyboard from ease of access option and verify the result.
