Windows 10: how can I make facebook gameroom compatible with windows 10?

gameroom worked until recently on my windows 10 laptop, however, after previous windows update, gameroom began performing poorly. After most recent windows update, 09/11/2018, gameroom doesnt work at all. ran the compatibility troubleshooter and it showed gameroom to be incompatible. is there a fix?

I tried what you suggested. Here is the situation as it stands now: On File Explorer I had a couple of FacebookGameroom.exe files and I right clicked one of them, selected TROUBLESHOOT COMPATIBILITY and ran it using the settings for Windows 8 (no, Win 10
wasn't on the list of OSs). Up popped a windows showing it was installing. When that was finished I brought up the start menu and there was the program. The big problem was that, on clicking, it did not open. I then right clicked the entry, selected RUN
AS ADMINISTRATOR, nothing doing either. On a hunch, I opened CONTROL PANEL, selected PROGRAMS & FEATURES and surprise, Facebook Gameroom wasn't on the list!! ???: Why would Facebook Gameroom have shown up on the START MENU but be missing on the program list,
when it was there before all this started happening? What other options are there?

It seems the Facebook Gameroom app is having a compatibility issue with Windows 10 1709. In the meantime, we suggest running the
Program Compatibility Troubleshooter to make older programs compatible with this version of Windows.
