    How can I move Windows 10 Gamebar save location from root drive to a folder?


    Currently videos are saving straight to my external hard drive on H:\ and I just want to move the location so the videos are in a folder.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    Restore Default Gamebar Capture location

    Hi,



    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



    I understand that you want to restore the default location for GameBar Captures, I’ll help you with the steps to do this.



    Refer the steps mentioned below:



    1. Press Windows Logo key + I, to open
      Settings.
    2. Click on Gaming and select
      Captures       from the left pane.
    3. Click on Open folder to open the current capture folder.
    4. Now, right click on an empty space in the folder and select
      Properties.
    5. Click on Location tab, and select
      Restore Default.
    6. Click on OK and select Yes (Twice) to confirm the change.

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    How can I move Windows 10 Gamebar save location from root drive to a folder?

    Change save location of clips by GameBar in win 10

    I found this website which shows, where the videos will be stored. Sadly this folder is on my SSD and I want to change the location to a (custom) folder on my HDD. In the settings of the GameBar I couldn't find anything to change the save location.

    Which ways are there and which way would you recommend to change the save location for the clips?
