Windows 10: how can i reinstall windows without losing apps and downloads.

so i have an issue and im going to need to reinstall windows, but how can i do so without losing my files AND apps, i tried doing so but there wasnt any choice to not lose my apps, im also im not sure how can i back up my apps, how can i do it?

Reinstalling an already downloaded app after Windows reinstall

I have reinstalled windows on my PC and already have Halo 5: Forge downloaded on my PC. I can actually navigate to the folder it is installed to. When I go to the app store to try to reinstall it, the store begins to download the whole game over again. Is
there a way to simply point the app store to the install location and have it recognise the game? I have already tried the suggestions listed on microsoft support here

Windows 10 Apps from the store wont download

Sorry for the delay in response.

• Do you face this issue only with these apps?
• Did you try downloading other apps?
• Did you try stopping these apps and then downloading it again?

We would suggest you to try the steps mentioned in the link

• Type troubleshooting in the search
  box and hit Enter.
• Click View all from the left pane and select Windows store apps.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and check.

If the steps don't work try these steps:

Try to reset the Windows store and check.

• Press Win + R on the keyboard to open run Window.
• Type wsreset.exe to reset the Windows store cache.
