How can i remove a existing system image and create a new windows image in my laptop for the latest windows 10 2004

My older windwos image is of windows 10 1503 created in 2017. After Upgrading to Windows 10 2004 yesterday. I would like to make a system image for this new build in my local drive, so i can reimage my system


My Spec is Windows 10 2004 build 19041.388 Home

SYSTEM IMAGE - Will I need to create a new system image each time I want to update its contents ?

Hello at Microsoft.

I have just created a system image for my laptop - Windows 10.

The `Dummies` book recommends a regular update... weekly / monthly, etc.

Will new data be added to the existing system image OR must I delete it and create a NEW system image each time I have changed data on the laptop ?

How can I do that though? The system when working is a RAID 0 array. If I remove the drivers I won't be able to boot into Windows to create the system image.

It seems like some sort of an OS confusion has happened with your secondary WD Black and I'm sorry to hear about that. *Frown
Maybe re-formatting it would help indeed as the community already mentioned. I'd suggest to take a look at this step-by-step how to partition and format an HDD: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=PYCoid
Keep in mind that this will wipe clean the drive, so you should backup all important data from the drive somewhere else.
I noticed from the screenshots that your HDD appears as Disk 0, this means that it's plugged in the primary SATA port where the SSD (as an OS drive) should be. Actually it is possible that because of this Windows cannot create the image there. Swap the ports of the SSD and the HDD, this might help as well.
