Windows 10: How can I stop getting a Crash Com Error on QuickBooks Desktop 2018 on Windows 10?

I have been getting Crash Com Errors for a considerable length of time. This is occurring principally on one PC (sporadically on a second), and it has come to the heart of the matter where it is relatively unusable. Each time we endeavor to open a current receipt, we get the mistake, and in the wake of tapping on the blunder box twice, we get kicked out of QuickBooks.

Log on to QuickBooks Pro 2011 with Window 10

Also have the same issue. Quickbooks suddenly stopped working. I've tried re-installing it and going through the steps you sent but it doesn't work. It just crashes with the same error:

" QuickBooks has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

I'm hoping there is a way to get this working.

Please answer the below questions to assist you better,

1. Are you getting any error message?

1. What is the make and model of the computer?

I would like to inform you that Quickbook Pro 2011 is not compatible with Windows 10. Therefore it is needed to install in compatibility mode.

Hence,I suggest you to reinstall the Quickbooks pro 2011 in the compatibility mode and check if it helps,

Please follow the steps below for more information:

• Right click on the setup file of the application and select
  Properties.
• Select Compatibility Tab.
• Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the
  operating system accordingly from the drop down list.
• Click OK and run the setup.
