Windows 10: How can I update my PC from Windows 10 1903 to 1909? I'm only getting options for 2004.

I wanted to update my PC, and therefore decided to update to 2004, it being the latest, hopefully meaning the "best and up-to-date version".


Well. I updated it and encountered problem after problem, Chrome won't run properly, a lot of apps won't even open, search stopped working. It was just a disaster. I spent countless hours trying to get it out, but I soon discovered the settings app also broke and would crash and freeze when I opened it.


I eventually managed to get rid of it using command prompt, and I'm now back to 1903. I still want to update my PC to get 1909 as it's the minimum requirement for something I want to do. so is there a way to upgrade to 1909?


I dislike the fact Microsoft give you the option to install specific versions. even if it was just out of 3 previous versions... They keep forcing us to 1 specific version.

How to get the Windows 10 May 2020 Update version 2004

I'm having issues installing the update to v2004. A while back I was on the Insider Program & had an issue & was advised to discontinue as an insider. Currently I'm running v1909 (OS Build 18363.836. All my hardware is listed in my user info. I built my PC just a few years ago.




When I check Windows Update it says this:




When I check "Learn More" it says the following:




My PC is on a wireless connection @ 100Gbs about 6" away from the modem. I do have KB45499951 & KB4524244 installed. Should these be uninstalled?

I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?
