  1. How do I change my UUID on Windows 10?

How do I change my UUID on Windows 10? I installed Windows 7 from an old clean image when I first got my pc and upgraded it to Windows 10 and then I installed Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. I still have my Windows 7 OS on a separate hard drive, but I can't have it enabled without it causing issues letting me boot in to Windows 10 because Ubuntu is showing that both hard drives have the same UUID number. Since my Windows 10 partition is on the same hard drive as my Ubuntu partition I'd like to know how to change the UUID for it so I can reenable my original hard drive and have access to both Windows 7 and 10 along with Ubuntu. Is this possible to do and if so how would I go about doing it please? Thanks in advance for the help. How do I change my UUID on Windows 10? :)

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
