  2. User Profile files not found (lost profile files)

    Hello Hilario,

We apologize for the delay in response from our end and at the same time we appreciate your persistent patience.

Now, since you have pointed out that you can locate the original user account. So, logging in to that particular account will help you to access all the files right where you left it.

In case you get logged in to the computer through one of the temporary user accounts, you need to click on the
Start button on and click the user icon on the top-left corner in the Start Menu, and then select another
    user

Next, in order to delete the redundant user accounts, I suggest you to follow the below steps.

    • Open the Control Panel (icons view), and Click on the User Accounts icon.

    • Click on the Manage another account link. If prompted by UAC, Click on Yes.

    • Click on a user you want to delete.

    • Click on the Delete the account link.

    • Click on Delete Files or Keep Files for what you want to do with the user account's personal files.

    • Click on Delete Account to confirm.

Note: You must be signed in as an administrator to be able to delete a user account.

Hope the above information helps this time. Please do write to us.

    Thank You.

  4. How do I delete a user profile and related files

Deleted some User related files and currently not able to add User account in Windows10. Only default is administrator.

Hmm. Okay, here's another way to do it:

    • Make sure that you're completely signed-out of the old account and signed-in to the new account.
    • Right-click the Windows/Start button and click
      Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Type the following command and press [Enter]: net user
    • You should get a list of all the user accounts on the computer. Ignore "Administrator", "Guest", and "DefaultAccount". Using this list, identify the exact account you wish to remove, and use that name inside of the quotes in the command below.
    • To remove that account, type the following command and press [Enter]:
      net user "Username here" /del
    • Confirm that the account was removed by pressing [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Del] and clicking
Switch User. The old account should no longer appear on the logon screen.
    • Now, the command in step 5 should only delete the user account, while leaving that account's profile folder and files behind. You can delete them in File Explorer by navigating to "C:\Users" and deleting the "Username here" folder. You will have to take
ownership of and confirm the deletion of several files and folders.
