Windows 10: how do i disable print to file in word?

Discus and support how do i disable print to file in word? in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I am trying to print from a word document and it always goes to print to file - printer is fine and connected, prints emails etc without a problem...     I am trying to print from a word document and it always goes to print to file - printer is fine and connected, prints emails etc without a problem

    • Does this issue occurs in other browser or specific to particular browser?
    • Are you able to print document using different apps?
    I suggest you to follow the below given steps to print the page.

    • Open the file you want to print in Word, Pdf or Notepad/WordPad
    • Press Ctrl + P key to open print option.
    • Select the Printer and desired page layout.
    • Click on Print and check if it works.

    Hi William,

    We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

    • Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
    • Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
    • On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
      OK to save changes.
    • Restart your PC.
    • Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.
