How do I disable this HP pop-up

Full precise instructions for removing the app generating the pop-up is available from Microsoft ... see below -- This is from Bleeping Computer ...

Connect a higher capacity ac adapter for full performance - Internal Hardware

The system is supplied with an underpowered adaptor to keep costs down, if you simply ignore the warning the system will run on a reduced power mode, which may result in tasks taking longer to complete, the same should happen if you decide to remove the application but I would advise that you simply click on the OK button each time you start the system.

If you wish to run your system at it's highest capable performance you will need to replace the power supply with a higher rated one - for this you would need to contact either HP or an official agent

  2. Yes, there are many ways. First, see in Task Manager when the pop-up is open. That will guide you with the location (find target).

At the same place under startup, disable HP stuff. In HP parameters you will find something to disable. But you're not over with HP messages, they have many in stock.

Knowing the name, the location can be found in Resource Monitor or can be killed inside Windows registry.

Run HP support app and see what's in it for your new lappy. Unless of a big correction or a BIOS update, you'll never need it.

This assistant app can be reinstalled at any time during the life of the computer.
