Windows 10: How do I enable DLNA on Windows 11?

    How do I enable DLNA on Windows 11?


    I am running Windows 11 on my desktop PC. I just reinstalled Windows today and I can't figure out how to turn DLNA streaming back on. All the guides appear to be outdated, as I can't find the option "Media Streaming Options" any longer.Edition Windows 11 Home Insider Preview Version Dev OS build 22533.1001 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22533.1001.0Let me know if you need any more information.     nokia DLNA/UPnP capability

    You can find which product has DLNA in DLNA,org



    But I'd checked, N8 and 5800 aren't listed in their product page.



    I am also wondering about what is the difference between two UPnP enabled devices with and without DLNA support.

    Hi,

    DLNA on Windows 10 can be done in 2 ways:

    • There is a Cast To Device button that you can use to stream Windows 10 to a DLNA
      video player.
    • For receiving content, you will have to use the Windows Media Player
    Which of the above are you trying to do? Also, provide error code or message, if any, when the video files do not play.

    Hi Debora S.

    Open "Play To" app that is reinstalled on my wp7 LG.

    Under collection it lists

    PICTURES

    MUSIC

    VIDEOS

    HELP



    I since tested streaming pictures to WMP on my laptop with Windows 7 installed and it works great. But each time I open the app, between VIDEO & HELP it shows the standard play symbol (you know, the one that looks like a triangle pointing right) and "now
    playing" beside it.



    To me, this suggests, the my wp7 is searchinmg to connect my pictures to an enabled DLNA device ? and in addition maybe wearing battery.



    Please advise.
