Windows 10: how do I find and install a compatible network adapter?

I recently got the problem that my pc loses connection if i try to boot up several games such as elden ring and valorant. i have spoken with tech support once and made a script to reset all of the internet sttings but even that doesnt help anymore. I have always tried to make sure to keep all of my drivers up to date but it doesn't make any difference. i ended up uninstalling my network adapter Realtek 8822CE Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC in hopes that when i check for hardware changes, the pc would install a new one. Sadly that did not happen and I am stuck using ethernet connection to wr

Compatible Network Adapters Listing?


Is there a listing of what network adapters are compatible with Win10? I am told the adapter I am using is NOT compatible. I am not adverse to purchasing a different one and installing it to get around this problem but I'd like to be able to verify that whatever I get IS going to be compatible first.

• Download the latest Wireless network adapter driver setup file from the manufacturer’s website and install it.

Install a driver for your network adapter

Go to the list of network adapters in the control panel, turn of the lan and turn it on again. See if that helps.
