Windows 10: How do I fix Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55 USB ports not working Code 37

So I accidentally left my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-723L Windows 11 last night charging while shut down. And when I turned it on, I noticed all the USB ports stopped working. I went to device manager and the IntelR USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.10Microsoft has a yellow triangle on it. Looking at the properties, it says "Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. Code 37" and "Object name not found". I have tried several troubleshooting methods and all of them really didn't work. -tried uninstalling and reinstalling still the same, but it was changed to USB xHC

Reinstalling Windows 10 on Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55

Hi there,

recently my Laptop (Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55) has been playing up a bit and I feel like my installation of windows has something wrong with it (corrupt files etc). For example, it wouldn't let me perform a system restore so I had to use the advanced boot menu which was also slightly broken and my password wasn't working. Luckily I fixed that issue in the end. I can't perform Chkdsk and other system operations just don't seem to work so well. I've uninstalled a lot of bloatware and try to keep my background applications to the minimal but it still feels quite slow. My performance in games feels as though it's deteriorating so I am thinking about performing a reinstallation of Windows 10 through Media Creation Tool. My concern is because I'm on a laptop is this going to create issues? I will back up files I want to keep onto another PC so that's not an issue but things liked drivers and BIOS updates that might have come with my laptop I'm concerned about. Will my BIOS be affected? And will I have to manually install drivers for the best outcome? What issues could arise in the process and do you think there is a better option for me?
