Windows 10: How do i fix the red x on folders and files in windows 10

I was recently copying files (alot of them over 500gb) from my external hardrive to my desktop, and before it was done i got a notification my one drive was full then red Xs started showing up on alot of my folders and files and some icons wernt displaying. ive read a couple of threads and Ive deleted everything in my one drive like one thread said to. (how they got there i dont know i was copying to desktop.) that didnt solve the problem. I deleted icon cache like one person said to, that didnt help. What do i need to do to fix this problem. Thanks in advance.

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Method 1: I request you to perform system file checker. Follow the steps below which will help you:

• Press Windows key + X, click Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
  
  sfc /scannow.

The sfc /scannow command will scan all protected system files, and replace corrupted files with a cached copy that is located in a compressed folder at %WinDir%\System32\dllcache.

If the issue persists, try this:

Method 2:
I request you to use the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool.

Follow these steps:

• 
  Open an elevated command prompt.
  
• 
  Run the "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" command.
  

Important:
When you run this command, DISM uses Windows Update to provide the files that are required to fix corruptions. However, if your Windows Update client is already broken, use a running Windows installation as the repair source,
or use a Windows side-by-side folder from a network share or from a removable media, such as the Windows DVD, as the source of the files. To do this, run the following command instead:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:\RepairSource\Windows /LimitAccess

File Explorer shows red "x" mark at a folder name

File Explorer shows red "x" mark next to a folder symbol, however this folder is accessible and seems all right. What does red "x" mark mean? Thank you
